FIRST YEAR CELEBRATIONS

Kalaa Manjari successfully celebrated its first year with an amazing performance put up by the 'Sa Re Gaa ' Childrens Choir that it formed in August.

The 60 enthusiastic children in the age group of 4 years - 16 years performed to 17 songs penned by great poets of India. The 8 tribal kids who had traveled all the way from Vidyavanam in Annaikatti were given ample encouragement by the audience The multilingual songs varied from a Naga song to a Kannada song ! The family and friends who witnessed the performance gave the children a impromptu standing ovation post the show !!!

The Chief Guest Vidwan T.M.Krishna ,Special Invitees Actor ,Director Chinne Jayanth,Musician Sangeetha Sivakumar , Master Of Ceremony Actor and Media person Janaki Sabesh and the innumerable parents including Mr.Anbumani Ramadoss were totally impressed with the childrens show ! Kalaa Manjari is an After School Activity Centre offering multiple classes including Global Art, Carnatic Vocal, Keyboard,Handwriting ,Chess, Guitar, Bharatnatyam,Western Dance ,Training for the YLE ( Young Learners English Tests ) conducted by British Council and Childrens Choir !!
